[Construction Case] Road Improvement Works *Plans are being distributed

An essential construction method in areas with high annual rainfall! It is also effective on unstable foundation grounds!

Our company has a track record of road improvement construction. Box-shaped retaining walls, based on various experiments, show that the vertical earth pressure acting on the foundation ground is smaller compared to rigid cantilever retaining walls, similar to the shear stress occurring in the retaining wall, making them advantageous from the perspective of ensuring bearing capacity. Additionally, the structure that acts in a well-balanced manner, as demonstrated in experiments, is effective even on non-stable foundation grounds. In regions with high annual rainfall, box-shaped retaining walls with high drainage performance are an essential construction method. Furthermore, their excellent seismic resistance has been verified through experiments and real phenomena. 【Case Overview】 ■ Purpose: Road improvement construction ■ Method: Box-shaped retaining wall ■ In regions with high annual rainfall, box-shaped retaining walls with high drainage performance are an essential construction method ■ Their excellent seismic resistance has also been verified through experiments and real phenomena *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Case] Park Improvement Project *Plans are being distributed

Access station to a private university! In recent years, the area in front of the station has been developed, resulting in increased foot traffic and considerations for greening!

The project for the development of the JR Minakuchi Station Front Park was carried out. For the large radius (R), type A was used to achieve full greening up to the fourth step, incorporating Green Cup A8 in the product, and using a φ300 drainage pipe at the product joint. For the small radius, type B was used (with some inversion), and a φ300 drainage pipe was utilized for greening. This site effectively showcased the advantages of curved construction, allowing for a beautiful representation of two different radii. 【Project Overview】 ■ Purpose: Development project for JR Minakuchi Station Front Park ■ Construction Method: Box-type retaining wall ■ Large radius used type A, small radius used type B ■ Leveraged the advantages of curved construction to beautifully express two different radii *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example] Road Work *Plans are being distributed

It gives a gentle impression with stepped stacking, and planting is possible! A case that was adopted due to its high safety evaluation!

The location for the retaining wall block installation faces the parking lot of a sports club frequented by a large number of people, emphasizing the importance of securing the landscape and safety for the future. Initially, conventional methods such as L-shaped retaining walls and reinforced earth walls were considered. However, it was pointed out that vertical walls could create a sense of oppression and that the concrete surface of the sliding face gives an inorganic impression. Concerns were also raised about the anxiety associated with deformation in the case of reinforced earth walls. On the other hand, the box-type retaining wall was adopted due to its gentle impression created by the stepped design, the ability to incorporate planting, and its high safety evaluated based on seismic resistance verification at the Public Works Research Institute and experiences from the Chuetsu earthquake. Additionally, since the construction took place in an area where a pond once existed, ground improvement and enhancement of the fill material were also carried out to ensure overall stability due to the embankment. 【Case Overview】 ■ Location: Retaining wall block installation area facing the parking lot of a sports club ■ Method: Box-type retaining wall ■ Provides a gentle impression with a stepped design and allows for planting ■ Ground improvement and enhancement of fill material were also implemented to ensure overall stability due to the embankment *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
